With no doubt one of the go to places in Alsace. The city of Strasbourg is located at the border of Germany. The city of Strasbourg beneficiate from a rich history and an amazing architecture.

While you are visiting Strasbourg you should visite the Notre-Dame Cathedrale, enjoy a ride in the Petite France and do some shopping around Place Broglie. A must in the alsatian region!

Obernai

A town located between Strasbourg and Guebwiller. Obernai is located 20 minutes away from Mont Sainte Odile a beautiful mountain culminating at 764 meters.

The Mont Saint Odile is also a pilgrimage site visited by many christians from around the world.

 

 

 

Kaysersberg

Kaysersberg is a beautiful town located on the alsatian wine road. It is located nearby Colmar and offers a pittoresque and beautiful town to visit at any time of the year.

If you can try to go to their annual christmas market to enjoy the best of Kaysersberg.

Also Kaysersberg is known because Albert Schweitzer an ex nobel price was born there!

Colmar

Colmar is an other must do during your stay in Alsace. Located 20 minutes away from Guebwiller Colmar offers many museum and a beautiful historical center.

Give a visit to the Musée Unterlinden where the famous Retable d’Issenheim is located. Also Colmar is famous because Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi the founder of the statue of liberty was born there!

Riquewihr

Riquewihr is an other medieval town located in the heart of the alsatian wineyard. Riquewihr’s city center is among the most beautiful in Alsace and the town was elected many times amound the most beautiful town in France.

Ribeauvillé

Just ahead of Riquewihr you can discover Ribeauvillé. Ribeauvillé is known for her wine and her beauty.

Eguisheim

We finish this list with Eguisheim an other beautiful medieval town in Alsace. Located just before Colmar Eguisheim is an other must do with traditionnal alsatian houses.
